A 51 year-old man of Portuguese origin, whose body was found by the Police inside a house located at number 34 Paseo de Sancha (Málaga). According to sources close to the case, the deceased was installed as a squatter in the house, which was in a state of neglect.
Police discovered the body of the man following a call received at the Police Station. Agents of the National Police went to the site and found the body of the man inside a courtyard of the house. The autopsy revealed that he was a victim of an aggression: he presented a fractured skull and multiple injuries throughout the body that supported the hypothesis of murder.
Between late 2009 and early 2010, two homeless people were found dead with signs of violence in Málaga, and several attacks on this group of “squatter people” were detected. In this sense, Police warned people sleeping on the street not to pass the evenings alone trying to meet in groups to stay overnight.
