January 1, 2007. Alcalá de Henares
A group of young men jumped into a Skating Rink installed at Cervantes Sq. in Alcala de Henares (Madrid) at 7 a.m. when the premises were closed. The guard, Ioan Grancea, a 28-year-old Romanian citizen, tried to dissuade them not to do so. The alleged perpetrator of Grancea’s dead, who was not involved in the previous dispute, was sitting on the fence of the track. The guard asked him to leave the premises because he thought that this man was part of the gang. The man attacked the guard and stabbed him twice in the chest (one directly affected the heart). The wife of the victim was present at the place of the fatal event.
